Estoy traduciendo una web de pianos y me ha surgido una duda. ¿Alguien me puede decir cómo se llama el palo o vara que sujeta la cubierta del piano?

Hasta donde yo he leido se llama "Brazo de la tapa" (Long topstick). En algunos pianos de cola hay un brazo de la tapa más corto que en castellano se llama "Brazo de la tapa corto" (Short topstick) que permite levantar la tapa hasta una altura menor que el anterior.
